About Your Podiatrist

I re-qualified as a podiatrist over 18 years ago after a short career in nursing.  I have been fortunate to work across a variety of specialist NHS and private services, caring for patients with a wide range of foot health needs.

My NHS career focused on diabetes and wound care. I worked as a Senior Specialist Podiatrist at Stoke Mandeville and High Wycombe Hospitals, where I treated patients with complex diabetic foot conditions and helped to prevent and manage foot ulcers. I also worked in the Diabetic Foot Clinic at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM) at The Churchill Hospital, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist care.
 

As Mental Health Lead Podiatrist at The Warneford Hospital and Luther Street Medical Centre, I provided foot care for people experiencing mental health challenges and those affected by homelessness in Oxford. It was an incredibly rewarding role and one that reinforced my belief that good foot health can have a real impact on a person's confidence, comfort and quality of life.
 

I enjoy all aspects of podiatry and love helping people stay active, comfortable and keeping them on their feet, whether that's through routine foot care or managing more complex conditions. I believe in taking the time to listen, explain treatment options clearly and provide care that is tailored to each individual.
 

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me out running. I'm currently training for marathons, so if you have any tips for those long training runs, I'd love to hear them! I'm also passionate about sustainable fashion and supporting brands that care for people, animals and the environment. Whenever we get the chance, my family and I head to the Scottish Highlands—our favourite place to relax, explore and enjoy the outdoors.
